Opened on 6 May 2022, the Cité Internationale de la Gastronomie et du Vin in Dijon occupies the site of the city’s former Hôtel-Dieu. It celebrates two treasures on the UNESCO list: the gastronomic meal of the French and the Climats of the Burgundy vineyard.
Across 1,750 m² it offers permanent and temporary exhibitions, cookery workshops (cooking, pastry and more), tastings, a cinema and a gastronomic village.
It is open seven days a week from May to September, 9.30am to 7.30pm, with reduced hours out of season; some areas are free to enter, others ticketed.
A wine walking trail links the site to the city centre and the railway station, an easy way to discover the Dijon terroir on foot.
